Click on the SIGN-UP Button on the SiteChoose your URL address:
This will be the name of your page and the URL or location on the site.
Fill in the box: "yoursitename" . themiraclecafe.com
You can choose your first name (depending on availability) or any word that you want - keep it simple so you will remember it*.
Your URL: will look something like this: http://sue.themiraclecafe.com
Choose a PASSWORD.
Once again choose something you will remember. If you forget your password you can redeem it in the login box on the homepage but you will need to give the URL of your site OR your USERNAME to have your password emailed to you*.
Choose a theme.
Unfortunately the themes are fairly limited. This is a FREE social media site. Choose one that allows your writing to be seen easily.
Complete the rest of the details.
You will be prompted to complete your profile. Fill out only the sections you want to. You can always update it later. You will need to add a small picture of you face (which is more personal and recommended) or other image you want. Alternatively you can choose from one of the images available.
Once you have set up your profile. Here are some basic functions to get you started.
- Login with your username and password. Keep you username, password and the url of your site somewhere safe for your records. If you forget your username or password you can retrieve it through the link below.
- Other Peoples Blog Posts. You can read other members blog posts from the home page.
- Adding Friends: If you would like to connect with anyone click "Add Friend" under the persons profile picture. Depending on the user's privacy settings, they will either immediately be added to your friend list or a mail message will be sent to that user asking them to accept or decline your invitation. After you have become friends their posts will show up on your 'Hub" page. You can also write comments in response to their posts or directly on their page in the right-hand column.
- Your Blog Posts: To write a blog post click the "blog tab" from either "My Site" or "My Hub Page". Then click "Add Blog Post". Write a short title. You can ignore the category etc. Just begin writing in the box below. Once you are finished you can click "preview" or "submit post".
If you want to add a picture that is already online your can click the little tree icon far right in the box and add the url of the picture. Alternatively once you have loaded photos to your site you can click the insert photo link at the bottom of the box and choose a photo through the Photo Manager.

Click the Photos tab next to the Blog tab. Click "Upload photo". The "Browse for files". You can add up to 50 photos at a time by pressing the Ctrl key while clicking each photo. Then click "Start Upload".
